The vessel is decorated with a continuous landscape scene of a lake, mandarin duck, and lotus. On the shoulder there are ruyi-shaped panels represent the Eight Buddhist Emblems of Immortal. A swell of water wave above the foot. The decoration is outlined in raised slip and picked out in pale aubergine, cream, yellow and dark blue, all on a turquoise ground. The interior is covered with green glaze.
